Whilst the scoreboard showed a tough result, the team fought hard and showed plenty of grit, particular in the third quarter where we outscored the opposition. It was great to see the lads putting their foot down and giving it their all until the final siren.

While Wollondilly managed to find the goals more often, our boys never gave up, and that fighting spirit will surely pay off as we move forward in the season. Hats off to our leading goal-scorers Ethan Harrigan, Ryan Jones, and Frazer Renu, who kept the fight alive with some sharp shooting.

A special shoutout to our best players on the day, led by Bill O'Brien whose efforts were relentless. Samuel Crane, Kieran McMurrich, and the rest of our top performers for the match.

We'll take this game's lessons and build on them. It's early in the season, and there's plenty of time for the team to come back stronger in the next round and beyond.
