The Demons started strongly, taking control of the opening term and creating an early six-point advantage. Camden stayed within striking distance, but Pennant Hills continued to find ways to score in the second quarter, adding 2.4 to take a 20-point lead into half-time.
The game shifted momentum after the main break. Camden came out with renewed energy and put the Demons under pressure, while Pennant Hills could only manage a single behind in the third term. Two goals from Camden brought the margin back to just seven points heading into the final change, setting up a tense finish.
The fourth quarter delivered exactly that. Camden continued to challenge and eventually drew within touching distance, but the Demons held their nerve when it mattered. A crucial goal and two behinds gave Pennant Hills enough breathing room to withstand Camden's late push, securing a two-point victory.
It was a genuine team effort in a contest where every possession and scoring opportunity mattered. Luc White, Oliver Williams, Callum Toohey, Declan Lee, Harry Buckley and Marcus Rickerby were named among the Demons’ best.
Up forward, Josh Mott led the way with three goals, while Matthew Durkin added two and Oliver Williams contributed one.
